Niall is a Life Insurance veteran with more than 27 years’ of global experience, having worked in Europe, North America and Asia. An actuary by background, Niall has a unique capability to marry his highly technical background with the leadership demands of a complex multinational life insurance group.
During his four-year tenure in his most recent role as CEO of the largest global provider of HNW Life Insurance solutions, Niall led the organisation’s HNW businesses in Bermuda, Hong Kong and in 2019 led the establishment of their Singapore start-up as a new HNW market entrant.
Niall graduated from the Queen’s University of Belfast (UK) with a First-Class Honours Degree in Applied Mathematics and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK).
Jérôme is an Actuary with 8+ years in the (re)insurance industry. He had held various roles in valuation, reinsurance, pricing and in-force management across various lines of business.
Most recently, he managed the reinsurance relationships and established the reinsurance strategy for a leading carrier’s HNW products issued out of Bermuda, Hong Kong and Singapore.
He also developed innovative financial reinsurance solutions to optimize required capital across various jurisdictions. Jérôme holds an MBA from Laval University in Canada.
Piero is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries with over 14 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry across several jurisdictions. Piero has a proven history of closing M&A, PRT and reinsurance transactions for start-up closed block insurance consolidators in Bermuda and the UK.
As an ALM subject matter expert, Piero specializes in creating capital optimal solutions that provide new as well as improve existing risk capacity to insurers. Prior to Triangle Life, Piero was Chief Actuary and Chief Risk Officer for Oceanview Re Ltd. Prior to that, Piero worked in an actuarial consulting role and for reinsurance consolidators.
In his prior roles, his work focused on M&A, risk management, financial reporting, ALM, and valuation.
Garth is a Chartered Accountant with 20 years’ experience in operational and financial areas within both the life and non-life insurance markets as well as the alternative risk transfer and financial products businesses.
His broad experience includes corporate finance transactions, strategic development, investor relations, performance analysis, SEC reporting and financial controller positions.
Garth graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Glasgow and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
Merrilyn is a financial services and technology professional with 26+ years’ experience. She maintains close valued relationships within an extensive global network of brokers, private banking, and wealth advisory.
With deep knowledge of the complexities of cross-border life insurance, Merrilyn has both spoken and been a panel member at various trust and private banking conferences.
She was awarded an undergraduate degree at the University of Lethbridge, Alberta and obtained her Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist designation through ACAMS.
Christen is a financial services professional with 18 years’ experience across varying sectors. Working in the HNW insurance space the past six years, Christen has established a deep network of close connections with brokers globally.
She has a comprehensive understanding of the HNW insurance process and insight into the challenges faced by clients in varying jurisdictions.
Christen holds an MBA with a focus on international business from UNC at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business.
Jeff has more than 26 years’ diverse global experience, partnering with fortune 500 executives to deliver transformational software and technology solutions.
Highlights include global leadership of technology advisory services for HSBC while employed by Gartner, Inc and for American Express Corp and Discover Financial while employed by FICO.
He has broad experience launching and advising technology start-ups. Jeff received an MBA from UNC at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business.
